WHAT KIND OF FABRIC SHOULD I CHOOSE?

We have an extensive fabric selection that will compliment your indiviual look. Choose from our vast range of exquisite cloths, brilliant brocade embossed fabrics in various colours and textures which we have carefully sought to meet our standard of suiting.

BROCADES

Famous for our individual look and known for our point of difference is our famous brocades. We specialise in a wide variety of all types of brocades.

Our brocades vary in weight and thickness. It is a fancy material with a raised textured pattern. It is a class of richly decorative shuttle-woven fabrics, often made in coloured silks. Some of our brocades may come with or without gold and silver threads.

WOOL

Wool is the most popular fabric choice in suiting and jackets due to its versatility and refined aesthetics. Common wool types include tweed, flannel,cashmere, merino and worsted. The style and drape of the garments always look best with 100% wool. Wool will drape naturally and mould to your body over time. However, 100% wool suit might be too warm to be worn in the summer.

COTTON

Cotton fabrics suits all body types and those wanting a semi formal look to outdoor events. It is a popular choice if you like natural fibres. Linen and cotton fabrics are breathable, lightweight, natural and stylish. Sports jackets and blazers can be made from cotton to give a more casual look. Similar to linen in that it creases and keeps you cooler in the summer.

LINEN

Linen fabric is super lightweight and maintains its coolness in soaring temperatures. It is the nature of this fabric to wrinkle and stretch easily. Dark blue or grey linen suits in 100% linen or linen blend with cotton or wool is a great option if you are having a formal occassion during summer. A blend of linen is preferrable during hot seasons as the fabric crease is less. Linen absorbs persperation, allowing skin to breath, hence why it is perfect for summer climates.

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Zac Mens are always happy to assist you whether you are walking past our store and decide to come in or making an appointment. Ideally, we prefer you make an appointment as this allows us to devote all our attention on you, our valued customer. During this appointment we discuss fabric choices, design and style of your suit, take your measurements and prices. We are happy to discuss your concerns try on some of our sample styles in our showroom and/or orgsnise future fittings.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A SUIT?

Our turn around is usually within 2 to 3 weeks. If there are no delays on fabric choice and availabilty then we always have a suit complete and ready by end of 3rd week. Naturally, if you are planning your wedding suit attire for yourself and groomsmen then we would adise you to plan well in advance to avoid any complications leading up to your big day.

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept EFTPOS, all major credit cards and cash.

IS DRY CLEANING THE ONLY OPTION FOR MY SUIT?

We recommend you dry clean your suit when absolutely necessary as dry cleaning can sometimes impact the longevity of your suit. This is due to drycleaners often using harsh chemicals that may impact on the fabric. Always hang your suit on a decent hanger one which properly supports the shoulders which will maintain and keep its shape.

DO YOU OFFER FURTHER ALTERATIONS OR ADJUSTMENTS?

Yes. We are always happy to do any alterations or minor tweaks should you need to.

WHAT IF I HAVE NO IDEA ON THE DESIGN OF MY SUIT?

Zac Mens offers a huge range of fabrics and designs to choose from when considering a suit . We will guide you through what is best suited to your needs and requirements, no matter what shape or size.. We will assist you with all decisions from different lapels, pockets, pleats, buttons, cuffs, collars, stitching, padding and pocket squares.
